5Enter your Zio Voice number and select Always Forward or When Unavailable.
6Click Save Changes.
Generic VoIP / SIP Providers
1Log in to your VoIP provider's admin portal or softphone settings.
2Look for Call Forwarding, Redirection, or Call Routing under your extension settings.
3Set the forwarding destination to your Zio Voice number.
4Choose the condition: Always, On No Answer, On Busy, or On Unavailable.
5Save and test by calling your number from another phone. You should hear your Zio Voice AI greeting.
Note: If your provider uses star codes, try *72 + your Zio Voice number (unconditional) or *61 + number (no answer). Check your provider's documentation for exact codes.
Test your setup
1. Complete forwarding setup above for your carrier.
2. Call your business number from a different phone.
3. You should hear your Zio Voice AI assistant answer with your configured greeting.
4. If the call goes to voicemail instead, double-check the forwarding was saved correctly.
